       Due to the countless pool parties and beach holidays, your swimming costume is a BIG deal this summer.The million dollar question among my friends is the bikini or the one-piece? I personally think both have their merits and demerits, but luckily my friend has come up with a solution: the tankini. She says it covers up her stomach and is modest, but isn't "boring and school-y" like a one piece.

    The truth is, there are hundreds of swimwear choices out there and its just a matter of finding the one to suit you. I have a great bandeau bikini from Jack wills. Pink, purple, blue, green and yellow checked, its a gorgeous print and flattering fit. I recommend La Senza for great supportive pieces. Its cup size system means some of my friends could never find a proper fitting, secure top before they tried La Senza.

         So, what swimming costume do you go for?

            Many trendy bikinis around
            Lots of variations in shape and style, where as one pieces are often similar in shape.
            Obviously they look great if you get the right shape!

One piece: Can be more flattering as they cover up stomach  
                  More modest
                  Often come with more support
                  'Mature' image

But then of course there are hundreds of swimming costume types within these categories: boy shorts, briefs, bandeau, push up, strapless... I could go on!
