Summer Accessories!

Hey all, hope you're all enjoying your summer! England may not be soaking up the sun this august, but I'm hoping for an indian summer. As we all know, accessories can make or break an outfit, and in the summer you don't want to be overloaded with heavy metallic jewellery! So my essential summer accessories include:
-Flattering pair of sunglasses. Make sure you buy the right shape for your face: for example i have a small face, so opted for white Topshop raybans (actually, there Topman!
Didn't notice until i left the shop, but I still love them) instead of big, black rectangular shades that would drown my face.
-Sun hat to protect you from the sun. I don't care what anyone says about hats, there's a style to suit everyone! Wide rims can frame stronger faces, trilbys emphasise delicate features. I have an adorable straw trilby with charms on it from Accessorize.
- A beach bag. It has to be large, bright and ideally have zip pockets to store essentials like wallet, mobile, keys, lipgloss etc. Its best to go for a cheerful but simple colour scheme to avoid clashing with the rest of your outfit, or co-ordinate with the main colours in your wardrobe.
-Essential sandals! You might want 2 pairs, 1 'smart' pair of sandals 1 'beach' pair for getting wet in the sea. I have a gorgeous pair of metallic studded sandals from Russell and Bromley that are perfect for shopping in, but I wouldn't take to the beach! For then I have some good old Roxy flip-flops, perfect for splashing around in. Many of my friends love the cult Havaianas, the classics.
-A really flattering and cute swimming costume: Don't worry, I have a whole post about this!
Have a fab, fashionable summer everyone! xx
