The new shoe styles!

As the weather gets colder and autumn kicks in a couple of months early, our shoe obsession is beginning. In my opinion, boots have got a bad press in the past, either being defined as comfy yet boring Uggs (save
them for slouching round at home, guys) or boring, practical wellington boots. But this season, the style thats on everyones feet are lace up ankle boots with a chunky heel. Perfect with skinny jeans, leggings, little dresses and body-con skirts! Many high-street and higher-class shops are featuring them, New look doing a particularly good selection. My own pair are a gorgeous pair from Russell and Bromley, as mentioned before.


The other hot new shoe style is the brogue. It was big last autumn and its big now! I really love this style, especially when they're used with a big cardigan and scarf to bring a girly dress down to earth. I personally adore shiny patent versions, and have a gorgeous pair from, yet again, Russell and Bromley. (Expensive, but great fit and quality guaranteed.) Meanwhile the high street is ahead of the game with floral/patterned brogue Not easy to co-ordinate, but a cute look. Please comment and tell me what your shoe essential are this season! xxxx
